Extremely happy to have hosted the 25th Conference on Organometallic Chemistry (EuCOMC XXV Conference) in Alcalá de Henares on September 4th – 8th, 2023. We could enjoy four days of fantastic science with an outstanding panel of invited speakers and amazing oral and poster presentations, with nearly 400 participants. As well we could celebrate the anniversary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Profs. G. Wilkinson and E. O. Fischer for their pioneering work in Organometallic Chemistry. Plus, Prof. H. Werner, winner of the first edition of the Fischer-Wilkinson Prize for Organometallic Chemistry, delivered a Plenary lecture.

It is finally out! Our book “Biopolymers Synthesis, Properties, and Emerging Applications”, edited by Valentina Sessini, Srabanti Ghosh and Marta E.G. Mosquera and published by Elsevier. This book presents the state-of-the-art in biopolymers, bringing together detailed information on synthesis strategies, processing and cutting-edge applications.
